The hybrid system utilises the highly adjustable and innovative Lynx material in conjunction with the CAPS II seating system to provide an increased level of postural support and an ability to accomodate a fixed spinal deformity.

• Lighter weight than the CAPS II seat, the MiniCAPS is available in small sizes to suit children from around a year old
• Available in nine standard sizes
• Sacral support works with the carefully designed kneeblock to maintain pelvic position
• Fits a large range of bases, including height adjustable school bases.

Lynx material consists of a number of interlocking ‘X’ pieces which are able to slide over one another, effectively allowing it to expand and contract, providing the ability to form complex 3 dimensional shapes.

Combined with the advantages and adjustability of the CAPS II footrests, kneeblocks and lateral supports, the Lynx CAPS II combination offers a high degree of flexibility.

Unlike a custom-moulded seating system, it is possible to adjust the system to take account of both major long bone growth and variation in the contoured postural support required. This will typically extend the life of this hybrid system by several years.
