Training and Education
Over the last 15 years, we have trained thousands of professionals and clinicians involved with the assessment and prescription of postural management equipment. In the early part of 2010 we will be running two courses on 'The Chailey Approach to Postural Management' at our venue in Birmingham.
The aim of the course is to develop your knowledge of the Chailey Levels of Ability and how they can be used as an effective assessment tool to measure postural ability. This information is then used to develop a twenty-four postural management programme.
The training course includes slide presentations, workshops and practical sessions. The training manual that will be sent to you before the course is essential pre-course reading. The course will focus on the Chailey Levels of Ability, their use as an assessment tool, the evidence base for postural management, and the design and use of the Chailey equipment.

Venue
We run all our courses near Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International Station, so are easily accessible from all over the UK. Birmingham city centre is within easy reach. They are held at the Holiday Inn Express which provides cost effective accomodation onsite, with purpose a built suite of meeting rooms. A location plan is available from their website.
Course Cost and Booking
The cost of the course is £250 (including VAT). This includes:
- A copy of the Second Edition of the book The Chailey Approach to Postural Management
- Refreshments and lunch on both days
- All course materials and an extensive Delegate Pack including an interactive CD-ROM Attendance Certificate.
