What we do

We are a UK-based company that is committed to promoting a 24-hour approach to postural management through education, design and manufacture. The design of our products is based on a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical requirements of the management of posture for people with moderate to severe motor impairment.

Course Dates for 2011 and 2012

We have now published details on four new courses to be run at the end of this year and the beginning of next. Details can be found in the Training and Education section.

We have a new Midlands venue this year at the Coventry University Technocentre aswell as the venue in London, near Heathrow. We will still be running two types of course, with one being more focussed in special seating. Book early, as places on all of our courses do fill rapidly.

Wheelchair Compatibility

Our Wheelbase Compatibility Checker has been updated. This new search facility on our website will enable you to view compatibility information on over 100 wheelchairs and buggy bases.

If you have an existing CAPS II or MiniCAPS Seating System, you can also use it to find out which bases will be suitable for a particular size of seating system. Please do let us know if you have any feedback on this checker by contacting us on the number above.

Chailey Lying Support

The Chailey Lying Support provides the opportunity for the user to actually improve their postural ability. It can be used for sleep or play, and can be set up in both prone and supine.

Chailey Standing Support

The Chailey Standing Support Offers a new way to experience standing, with a normal developmental position. This enables the child to experience better sensory and biomechanical feedback, and learn the proprioceptive skills required for standing.

MiniCAPS Seating System

Recently restyled and constantly improved, the MiniCAPS seating system is the baby brother of the reliable and durable CAPS II. It promotes the development of postural skills in sitting, while also providing a highly functional position.
